Bunessan Community Swap Shop
The "swap" shop is run as one part of the work of MESS - Mull and Iona Environmentally Sensitive Solutions. The "swap shop" accepts any item, as long as there is a fair chance that it may be of use to someone else. The aim of the "swap shop" is to divert re-useable watse from the landfill sites and to encourage that re-use. Donated items include textiles, bric-a-brac and household items. Since its inception in Summer 2003, the Bunessan Swap Shop has raised over £4000 from donated materials. Other groups which would like to be considered for future support should contact the volunteer staff at the Swap Shop. Lists of items available and wanted are kept.
